If you’re from the West, chances are you’ve never encountered Black Ginger before. If, however, you’re from the East, and in particular Thailand, the legendary reputation of this herb precedes itself.
This is NOT your everyday kitchen ginger...
Also known as Kaempferia Parviflora (Krachai Dum in Thai), Black Ginger is traditionally used in Thailand as a male tonic herb. It's generally believed to have positive effects on blood flow in men.
Nicknamed locally in Thailand as "Fighter's Friend", Black Ginger is widely used among many elite Muay Thai fighters for its effects on circulation.
Studies have revealed that Black Ginger is a natural phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor.
A PDE5 inhibitor blocks cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), an enzyme that breaks down nitric oxide in the body, which results in increased nitric oxide production.
The 2016 study has already proven Black Ginger’s positive effects on circulation and physical fitness without any recorded side effects. Centuries of use in Thailand can also attest to that.
If you’re trying to boost your blood flow naturally, Black Ginger may be your best shot.
