Black Ginger (Kaempferia Parviflora), is a medicinal root from Thailand, known as Krachai Dum in Thai. It's traditionally used in Thailand as a male tonic herb*, energy enhancer* and longevity agent*.
Black Ginger is famous among Muay Thai fighters as Thai Ginseng, since they believe it increases endurance*, vigor* and muscle strength*. It remains one of the most popular herbal remedies in Thailand.
In conjunction with the “one village, one product” campaign raised by the Thai government, Black Ginger has been promoted as a healthcare food in the country to increase public awareness and protect the plant.
Clinical studies have suggested that Black Ginger may be beneficial for improving energy production*, body composition*, and blood flow*. You can find the links to these clinical studies in the “References” tab above.

BLACK GINGER SUPPLEMENT: THE FUTURE OF NITRIC OXIDE SUPPLEMENTATION
The Best Black Ginger Supplement (beneficial for erectile dysfunction) may be so much more than a simple nitric oxide booster.
The clinical studies we outlined above have suggested it may improve overall energy production, which would be beneficial to muscle endurance and physical performance*. It also may increase hand grip strength*.
Research also showed that Black Ginger Supplement (black ginger benefits) activates AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase) as well as activates BAT (brown adipose tissues) which is the ‘good' type of fat mass which is thermogenic, abundant in mitochondria (the powerhouses of the cells) and beneficial for energy expenditure*.
This may contribute to positive effects in terms of improving body composition* which clinical studies such as this one have also suggested.

A NATURAL SOURCE OF PDE5 INHIBITORS
Clinical studies have shown that Black Ginger extract contains natural PDE5 inhibitors which suppress the enzyme that breaks down nitric oxide (NO)*.
PDE5 inhibition may increase the availability of nitric oxide and prolong vasodilation*.
The most common PDE5 inhibitors on the market block this enzyme to an extremely high degree and thus may come with plenty of side effects like headache, back pain, vision disturbances, dizziness, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion and rhinitis*.
Black Ginger, inhibit this enzyme to a milder degree with no known side effects*.
PDE5 Inhibition May Increase the Availability of Nitric Oxide and Prolong Vasodilation*.
A PURE
NITRIC OXIDE
Superfood*
Research suggests that Black Ginger extract may work in two ways: by potentially improving vasodilation and blood circulation (through PDE5 inhibition)*, as well as by boosting the levels of feel-good neurotransmitters and the body's sensitivity to them.*
Neurotransmitters play a crucial role in the body.
Clinical studies have suggested that Black Ginger may work as a mild anti-depressant* thanks to the way it modulates the levels of neurotransmitters by stimulating dopaminergic function in the hypothalamus*.
Keep in mind that the effects of Black Ginger extract are NOT comparable in strength to other common PDE5 inhibitors on the market although they may work in similar ways.
